With great sadness

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Chris May, Chief Executive of Creative Partnerships Area Delivery Organisation Curious Minds. Visit the [LINK:1610] for more information and links to a tribute page online.

Paul Collard, Chief Executive of Creativity, Culture and Education said:

"All of us at CCE were profoundly shocked and deeply saddened by the sudden death of Chris May on 28 April. Since his arrival within the Creative Partnerships programme in January 2005, Chris had been a major force within the programme, playing a leading role in it's shaping and development. In the run up to the re-launch of the programme in 2008, he was seconded to the National Office and was central to the design and implementation of the Change and Enquiry School programme, whose enormous success owes a great deal to Chris.

"Throughout his time here he displayed an extraordinary ability to combine a forthright, challenging and demanding manner with the greatest charm and persuasive ability. He demanded a lot from all those around him, but nobody was ever tempted to let him down. As a consequence, so many of us achieved so much beyond our own expectations. Let us remember his impact on our lives by never achieving less than we can again."
