Training workshops focused on the Prevent Strategy

Working with Prevent and trying to fulfil the objectives of this strategy while working with young people is a complex challenge.

CCE is committed to the professional development of its partners and has delivered training workshops in collaboration with staff from the DCSF for people working with the Prevent strategy.

The aim of the training is to help partners to think creatively and work confidently, with knowledge and cultural awareness when working on Prevent focused projects.

The training was designed for:

• People who work with schools or youth centres delivering creative and collaborative projects
• Arts/ education consultants, educators and community/youth workers wishing to develop their knowledge about the Prevent Strategy
• Sports leaders or coaches working with young people
