CCE supports many high profile initiatives, including Shine Week - an annual celebration showcasing the talent of all young people.
Held in July each year, Shine enables young people, both in and out of school, to plan and host events to showcase their talents.
It aims to be a catalyst, enabling every talent to come forward and helping all young people to Shine. During the first Shine Week in 2008 over 2,500 schools - representing more than 1,000,000 young people - took part in the activities, exhibitions and workshops designed to celebrate the talent in everyone.
It is hoped that this success will be built upon in future years as part of a growing national campaign that provides a week-long opportunity to focus attention on what young people are capable of.
