Building Communities

Our work building communities involves CCE reaching out beyond schools to engage more people in cultural experiences. The ten Find Your Talent pathfinders are searching for the best way to link young people to the greatest culture our towns and cities have to offer.

Find Your Talent is a programme as diverse as the people engaged in it, from the Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse producing a community lead play starring actors aged 14-83, chosen from open auditions in Kirby, to the development of young cultural ambassadors in Leicestershire, to supporting the regeneration of Folkestone through culture. We are working with Local Authorities and creative partners until 2011 to test what ideas work best.

Our evaluation of the ten pathfinders will inform future work on improving the cultural experiences available to all.
