CCE in Australia

Following the success of the 2018 pilot year of the Creative Schools programme in Western Australia, FORM, the creative development agency for WA, and CCE were successful in attracting funding from the Department of Education in WA. This has enabled them to launch an enhanced programme in 16 schools. Training of creative practitioners and teachers took place in March. Since then teachers, creative practitioners and pupils have been working intensively on a wide range of projects.

“It has been a joy building a relationship with FORM,” says Paul Collard. “Together we have managed to take my participation in PUBLIC, a celebration of Arts and Ideas that FORM staged in 2015 and transform it into a significant year-long programme for schools in WA. The quality of the work emerging from these partnerships is amazing.”
