We are an international foundation dedicated to transforming the learning experience of children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds across the world.
We use the power of creativity to unlock their potential for achievement, attainment and well-being by supporting the confidence and capability of the educators in their lives.
We have been creating, researching, developing and collaborating with partners across the globe, offering creative learning programmes to young people and their teachers, since 2008.
CCE acts as an expert advisor on creative learning to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and is recognised by Harvard’s Global Education Innovation Initiative as one of 50 organisations delivering an education that is engaging, powerful, rigorous, and relevant to the 21st century. We are also currently an advisor on creativity to the Lego Foundation.
CCE works with each partner to understand the objectives and aspirations for their community of learners. Using the combined power of our 10 years of experience and ongoing research, we design interventions which meet our partners’ goals for improvement, whether they are an individual school or for national systems, policies or practices.
We also offer research and consultancy services that can help your organisation take the right next step. This support can include policy and strategy development, quality assurance, evaluation and reporting, project or organisational development and capacity building.
“CCE has transformed the students’ experiences of schooling and has provided them with an opportunity to be imaginative, inventive and inquisitive.”Seema Aziz, Founder of CARE Pakistan
CCE spends time working closely with each partner to fully understand and address the specific needs of their setting. We design and can help to deliver and then quality assure tailored-made initiatives to identify, act on and reach societal, economic or educational goals.
Our experience of working in schools and communities, and within local and national governments, addresses educational challenges such as inequality, exclusion, social injustice and the attainment gap.
We are currently working in these countries and encourage dialogue and exchange between our world-wide partners, building a strong community creative practice globally:
“The day after the course I found myself being more creative without even thinking about it. It was quite startling. The ideas just popped out.”Teacher, Mesaieed International School, Qatar
